Basic Enhancement
Your eye perceives visual information across a visible spectrum from the blackest blacks to the whitest whites. In digitizing that information, cameras and film scanners compress it into a much smaller range. The information may be there, but is so condensed that if uncorrected, the subtleties you perceived when you took the picture aren’t always evident in the print.
Basic enhancement techniques allow this information to spread back out across the visible spectrum, or dynamic range of the image. This results in restored detail, improved overall contrast and purified, more vibrant color. These simple steps can transform a flat, hazy image into one that “pops” with renewed color and definition.
Restoration
Restore the quality and detail of your faded or damaged photographic treasures. We reconstruct your image from the bottom up, repairing the tears and cracks, filling in the missing pieces and removing the spotting and discoloration that can happen over time.
We print using museum grade archival papers and state of the art pigmented ink, ensuring the integrity of your image for generations to come.
